Mike Schnurer

Mike has been a proud member of the law enforcement community for the past ten years and currently lives on a small horse ranch with his wife Ashley and their daughter. He has always had a love for horses, riding, and rodeo. Mike recently took up team roping and quickly became hooked, roping whenever the opportunity presents itself.
Mike first competed in rodeo two years ago at the Calgary Police Rodeo in the Chute Dogging, Wild Horse Race, and Wild Cow Milking events. After discussions around the camp fire about Edmonton hosting their own rodeo Mike rounded up a few like-minded First Responders from the Edmonton area and the EFRRA was born. Mike is proud to work with the many amazing board members, volunteers, and sponsors who have made this rodeo a success.
