Description
Junior Calf Scramble
Open to qualified (First Responder immediate family) contestants between the ages of 8 and 12 inclusively.
A calf, with a ribbon tied to its tail, will be released into the arena from the timed event chute. 12 contestants will be held behind a line at opposite end of the arena. A horn will blow indicating the start and at that time contestants can cross the line and make their way to the calf. The objective is to pull the ribbon off the calf and run the ribbon back to the designated person/judge. First person to bring the ribbon back is the winner.
These are condensed rules. Official rules will be available at the rodeo office as contained in the EFRRA Bylaws.
