Description

Wild Cow Milking

Watch as teams of three try and contain a wild cow as they try and get milk from her.  Originally done with the assistance of a horse, the odds are tilted considerably in the animal’s favour by everyone being on foot.  2 heats of 6 teams available.

    • No contact can be made with the animal within the chute boundary
    • Cow must be milked standing up
    • Any empty (dry) plastic container can be used for milk collection
    • Must have enough milk to pour for the judge (8 drops minimum)

All team members must be identified and be first responders. The contestants must be 18 years old or older.

These are condensed rules. Official rules will be available at the rodeo office as contained in the EFRRA Bylaws.
